Notes
Accessibility
This site is optimised for
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and
Netscape 7.x
at a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. For the best experience, ensure that
javascript and style sheets are enabled and install a Franklin Gothic Medium typeface
(from
International Typeface Corporation,
Microsoft,
etc.)
if one is available to you.
Please advise
us if these assumptions limit your access.
Aesthetics
Font styles (typefaces, colours and, in particular, sizes of fonts) on this
site are comprehensively customisable in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and in
Netscape 7.x. One thing to note in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x is that the
"Text Size" setting on the "View" menu will have no effect
unless the "Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages" option is
checked on the "Accessibility" dialogue box of the
"General" tab of the "Internet Options" on the
"Tools" menu.
Both Microsoft
and Netscape
(Mozilla) publish additional accessibility material of potential interest.
Navigation
The button bar at bottom-left provides site-wide access to:
the home page;
the index of media releases;
a printer-friendly rendering of each page;
the top of each page.
Adobe Acrobat PDF
Some resources - usually indicated by this icon -
are provided as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. You will require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 5.0 or higher) to print or read these resources.
If you receive the message "You have started to download a file of type ... PDF"
(or similar) while attempting to open these PDF files then your Adobe Acrobat plug-in
is incorrectly installed. Close all browser windows and re-install Acrobat Reader;
alternatively, browse the relevant support pages at Adobe's website (e.g., re:
Microsoft Internet Explorer or
Netscape Navigator).
It is recommended that you select "Fit to Page" (also known as
"Shrink to Fit") when printing PDFs.
