Comprehensive multidisciplinary pain and palliative care service with inpatient and outpatient services.

Pain care

Inpatient consultations are arranged by paging the Pain Fellow (6236) or one of the Pain Nurses (6252 or 6151).

Outpatient referrals must be made by a medical practitioner contacting the Pain Nurse via the Hospital switchboard on 9845 000 and page 6252 or telephoning Outpatient Appointments on 9845 2525.

A member of the Pain Unit should be consulted by telephone, prior to the appointment being made.

Palliative care

Contact the Palliative Care CNC via the Hospital switchboard on 9845 0000 and page 6794 or telephone 9845-2154 and leave a message. Contact the Palliative Care Fellow on 9845-0000, page 6807
