| Location: | Main building, level 1 | The Orthotic Department provides rehabilitation, orthopaedic, orthotic and related devices. These devices are worn by patients to offer support, protection, correction to the muscularskeletal system and to enhance mobility. Each device is generally custom made to enhance comfort and afford the most intimate fit possible. The Department provides services to Hospital inpatients and outpatients. Orthotists are available to attend outpatient clinics on request. The Department also provides a consultative service in orthotic management of paediatric conditions to other community centres and participates in teaching programs. Hours of operation are 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. How to make an appointment:A referral from a specialist associated with the Hospital is required.
