Inhalation Therapy supports and advances the care of sick children by applying engineering and management skills to the respiratory technology used in CHW. This includes design, setup and decontamination of all respiratory circuits and ventilators, supply of  consumable respiratory stock and the management of medical gas systems and cylinders.

Inhalation Therapy supports home patients of CHW (including home oxygen and home ventilation) and home paediatric patients of other AHS's through individual service level agreements as well as providing support for clinical research activities.

Within NSW, Inhalation Therapy supports the retrieval systems used by NETS.
