The Western Child Health Network (WCHN) is one of three Child Health Networks established by NSW Health to ensure high quality clinical care as close to home for all children, wherever possible.

NSW Health funds each of the Networks and provides enhancement funding for projects on a biennial basis.  Each Network is managed by a Coordinator.

The Western Child Health Network is a partnership of the following:

• Sydney West Area Health Service
• Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service
• Sydney South West Area Health Service
• Greater Western Area Health Service
• The Children's Hospital at Westmead
