The Institute of Endocrinology & Diabetes is a world class medical and research centre, proud to be a vital part of the Hospital and its tradition of caring.
The Institute provides comprehensive clinical services in the assessment, diagnosis and management of all paediatric and adolescent endocrinology disorders through its inpatient and outpatient services.
Services provided include:
- diabetes outpatients and diabetes complications screening
- endocrine
- growth and bone metabolic screening
- inpatient services including diagnostic services, dynamic endocrine testing, acute care and ongoing management
- endocrinology outpatient clinics
- consultative service to metropolitan Sydney and regional areas of New South Wales
- 24 hour urgent telephone service for families and health professionals
- endocrinology laboratory services (diagnostic and research)
- extensive clinical research activities in diabetes, endocrine and growth.
