| Location: | Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetes | The Diabetes Complications Assessment Service offers a comprehensive assessment of diabetes complications for adolescents with diabetes. The assessment includes retinal photography, estimation of albumin excretion rate and assessment of autonomic and peripheral nervous systems. The service is available to all adolescents in NSW and the ACT who have diabetes for at least 2 years and for younger children who have had diabetes for at least 5 years.
