The Department of Dentistry specialises in treating:

• children with special needs, including children with medical conditions, syndromes, social or environmental deprivation/dislocation
• children with orofacial anomalies/syndromes, including facial clefts, growth anomalies and aberrations of the dentition and associated structures
• children who require specialist dental care under sedation or general anaesthesia
• emergency management of orofacial trauma
