• Multidisciplinary assessment of severe / profoundly deaf children for cochlear implant (bionic ear) candidacy.
• Ongoing post-operative management of implanted children. Provision of services including programming of the device, intensive auditory, speech and language therapy, family counselling and support, and liaison with other educational agencies.

The Centre currently has over 400 implant children in the program.

How to make an appointment:

An initial medical interview is made with the Team Surgeon at the Centre by phoning 9844 6800.

A referral from a general practitioner or other medical referral is required.
