The CAC is specially designed for the comprehensive assessment and management of various chronic disabilities within the centre and the community.

The CAC offers a location for:

• Child Development Unit
• Rehabilitation Department (including Brain Injury Unit)
• Spina Bifida Unit
• Limb Deficiency Clinic
• Psychology Department.Some medical subspecialty clinics held in CAC include:
• Genetics and neurogenetics
• Connective tissue dysplasia
• Growth clinic
• Leg lengthening clinic
• Newborn follow up clinic
• Children's Hospital Education Research Centre clinics.

There are excellent facilities for multidisciplinary assessment, observation facilities for teaching and therapy areas. All units provide teaching within their own disciplines.

How to make an appointment:

All units provide tertiary care statewide. Professional referrals are made to the individual departments and clinics as described in this directory.
