The Aboriginal Health Education Officer (AHEO) is situated in the Social Work Department.All Aboriginal patients and parents should be informed of the availability of the AHEO.

The AHEO is notified routinely of Aboriginal patients in the Emergency Department or on admission or attending Outpatients clinics.
