There are over 50 students undertaking postgraduate research here at the Hospital in a diverse range of laboratory and clinically based projects. The students are enrolled through a number of universities including The University of Sydney, University of Western Sydney, Macquarie University and Australian Catholic University. The degrees in which they are enrolled are also diverse.

We offer projects for vacation scholars.
We offer a range of expertise and technologies including:
- gene therapy and vector production
- gene knockout/transgenic technology (mouse genetic models)
- histopathology
- confocal microscopy and digital imaging
- quantitative PCR
- molecular diagnostics
- clinical trials
- paediatric MRI
- dual energy x-ray absorbtiometry (DXA) - densitometer
- data management.
