The focus of the Children's Hospital Institute of Sports Medicine (CHISM) has been to develop, validate and combine the means to assess bone mineral, bone material properties, bone and muscle geometry and bone strength indices.

Some of our focus has been on musculoskeletal adaptation to exercise in clinical (eg. diabetic), normal (eg. school based studies) and athletic.
