Data Collection for Tumour Bank

Information sought for each case includes the following:

  • Age
  • Sex
  • Medical history
  • Clinical Diagnosis
  • Histopathology
  • Cytogenetics
  • Date of diagnosis
  • Date of treatment commencement
  • Type of treatment given
  • Histopathology
  • Anatomical site / organ
  • Germline, or tumour-specific genetic abnormalities
  • Pre / post treatment undergone.

The above information may be incomplete for some samples.

All data released for research is in a form that maintains patient confidentiality and anonymity.

When the samples are provided for research, the child's name will not appear on the sample. At no time will any personal contact details (address, phone number) be issued with the specimens.
