Nursing Unit Manager

The Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) works Monday to Friday from 8.00am - 5.00pm and is responsible for the day to day running of the ward. When the NUM is not on duty, a nurse in charge of the ward (Team Leader) takes on this role.

One responsibility of the NUM is to ensure that children/young people and parents on the ward are being cared for in the best possible way. Families can speak to the NUM about any issues concerning the day to day care of the child/young person.
