Cleft Lip and Palate: A Parent's Guide

Chapter 23: If Problems Arise

If you have any doubts about your child's health, particularly if you suspect any ear or throat troubles, hearing loss, poor speech, difficulties with schooling, problems with eating, malocclusion and tooth troubles, seek advice as soon as possible from your surgeon or the nearest hospital centre that has a cleft palate clinic.
