Module: Plan and Deliver Exercise for Children and Young Adolescents (SRFCHA001A)
Overview
The Children's Hospital Institute of Sports Medicine (CHISM) is a campus of Australian Fitness Network (Provider No 90497). The Australian Fitness Network is a registered training organisation (RTO) operating under the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF).
This module offered by CHISM is an elective unit of the Certificate IV in Fitness (SRF40204).
Course Venue
The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Corner Hawkesbury Road and Hainsworth Street, Westmead NSW and Fitness First, Parramatta.
Course Transfers
If you are unable to attend the course you have booked, you may transfer to an alternative date at no charge if you provide notification at least 14 days prior to the commencement of that module. If not notified within 14 days, a $50 transfer fee will apply.
Course Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel a course, you will receive a full refund if notification is received, in writing, at least 14 days prior to commencement of the course. Notification of cancellation less than 14 days prior to commencement of the course will incur a fee of $100. No notification will result in no refund.
Delivery
The CHISM Module has two options for delivery. The Face-to-Face Course option is held over 2 consecutive weekends and as a 4-day "end-on" course throughout the week during some NSW school holidays. The Correspondence Course option is a self-paced interactive online course.

Fitness Australia Re-registration
Upon completion of this course, you will receive 15 Fitness Australia Approved Continuing Education Credits (CECs).
Correspondence Module Cancellations
Upon receiving the Correspondence module, if you do not wish to do the module, you must return all products (unused and undamaged) within 14 days to be eligible for a refund. A cancellation fee of $100 will be deducted from the refund. If products are not received by CHISM in an unused and new condition further deductions will apply. Special consideration may be granted to students to change from the correspondence course to the Face-to- Face course option. Correspondence module cancellation fees will apply to such transfers.
Student Policy Handbook
On receipt of payment, you will be forwarded a Student Policy Handbook that will detail your rights and responsibilities while enrolled in the CHISM training course.
