Method of referring	Referral letter to the specialist by name from GP or other specialist.
Clinic function	Assessment of sleep problems, especially difficulties relating to breathing in sleep. Children who are thought to need a sleep study need to be reviewed by a Consultant of the Sleep Unit in order to be booked for their study.
Urgent cases	Page the Respiratory Registrar to arrange consultation.
Special interests or sub-specialty clinics	Dr Seton: All sleep problems. Dr Waters: Sleep-associated respiratory problems, especially non-invasive respiratory-support. See also Respiratory Clinics.
