Clinics are held in the Orthopaedic Outpatient's Department Monday to Friday. The day of your appointment will depend on the consultant your child will see. |
| Method of referring |
Children must be 14 years and under to be seen as a new referral, existing patients may be referred until 16 years of age.
Referral Including: Reason for referral, child's DOB, investigations already undertaken and results, family contact details and Medicare number. The referral should be addressed to the specialist by name (areas of specialty below). It should then be faxed to the Orthopaedic Outpatient's Clinic on 9845 2702. These will be assessed in order of urgency and priority and an appointment will be sent to the patient / family in the mail.
If a referral is felt to be a high priority the medical officer should, after faxing the referral, contact Corinne Bridge 98450000 (page number 6966) to discuss the referral.
