Method of referring	New patients with a potential diagnosis of cancer or leukaemia should be referred immediately to the Oncologist-on-call via the Hospital switchboard (9845 0000). Patients who have already been seen or treated within the Oncology Unit may make appointments as needed on 9845 2115.
Clinic function	To provide comprehensive care to the child with cancer and to his/her family. This includes the assessment of the child's clinical state and progress, and the delivery of chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics and various other elements of treatment.
Urgent cases	Should be discussed with the Oncologist-on-call at any time, 24 hours/day via the Hospital switchboard, 9845 0000.
