Method of referring	Referral letter to the doctor by name
Clinic function	For referral of children with general medical conditions, or where it is unclear if subspecialty referral is required. General medical clinics are also required to see some children prior to referral to some subspecialty clinics and to the Speech Pathology Department.
Urgent cases	General medical fellows run weekly clinics and are often able to provide urgent appointments where required.
