Clinic function

Provide assessment and management of children & adolescents who have experienced a previous adverse event following immunisation or who have an underlying medical condition which may indicate the need for supervision during immunisation.

Offer detailed discussion with parents who are concerned about vaccines and adverse events.

Facilitate the management of adults who have experienced a previous adverse event following an immunisation.

Urgent cases To be referred through the Emergency Department. All bookings to be made through Kath Cannings, Immunisation Adverse Events Clinical Nurse Consultant, Ph 9845 1414 or Page 7007.
