Clinic function

Patients are referred to this clinic by a GP or paediatrician. Referrals are to be sent to the department of nephrology (ph 98453430, fax 98453431). The patients are seen by a team of paediatrician, nurse , physiotherapist and psychologist in the clinic. The purpose of the clinics is to assess and manage children who have bedwetting or daytime wetting.

Paediatricians who are affiliated with the Children's Hospital at Westmead can refer children to the "alarm clinic" directly for the hire of a bell and pad alarm. The cost of hiring the bell and pad alarm is $30.00 for three months with $150.00 deposit which is refunded when the equipment is returned clean and in good working order.
