Telephone contact with Cleft Palate Clinic Secretary, Mr Orville Moll on (02) 9845 2079 or Clinical Nurse Consultant, Ms Nicole Coburn on (02) 9845 1118, followed by written referral from medical officer faxed or forwarded to the Cleft Palate Clinic.

Function of the clinic Assessment and coordination of management of children with cleft lip and/or palate and/or velopharyngeal dysfunction.
Urgent cases If pre-surgical management of a child with a cleft of the lip is indicated (i.e. presurgical orthopaedics), an appointment will be arranged for the infant and family to be seen by one of the Clinic's Orthodontists, usually before the family's first full Cleft Palate Clinic visit. For further information about this, please contact the Clinical Nurse Consultant, Ms Nicole Coburn on (02) 9845 1118.

Velopharyngeal Dysfunction (VPD) Clinic
The VPD Clinic is a satellite clinic of the Cleft Palate Clinic and provides Speech Pathology screening assessments for patients with suspected velopharyngeal dysfunction. Medical referrals are required for this Clinic and appointments can be arranged as above.
