| Referral Criteria |
- Child aged 0-12 years (pre-High School)
- BMI for age standard deviation score > 2.5
- Referral letter from a paediatrician or psychiatrist, addressed to Professor Louise Baur or Dr Shirley Alexander. The letter must include height & weight, pathology or test results, relevant family history and contact details of the family, including phone numbers and addresses.

Monday am every second fourth week of the month |
| Functions of the program |
The child's family and caregivers are involved in a multidisciplinary approach to the weight management of the obese child. |
| New Families are offered in order |
- Triage assessment with the Clinical Nurse Consultant to asses health needs of the family
- 3-sessions parent education program.
- Five multidisciplinary clinic appointment sessions over 3 months.
- Ongoing follow up appointments as necessary
Family will not proceed to the next level of appointments until attendance is complete at the previous sessions.
