| Method of referring |
- Referral letter from managing paediatrician required.
- Clear statement of goals of assessment and referral to be provided.
- Primary and secondary services should be previously utilised and information /reports provided.
- All enquires regarding making referral to child Development Unit can be discussed with the Intake person of the day.
- All referrals will go through an Intake process to discuss and prioritise appropriate assessment and service required.

Communication disorders e.g. severe language disorder, autism, preschool developmental problems for more specialist opinion, neurodevelopmental disorder associated with medical conditions requiring neuropsychological assessment, some learning. |
