Directory of Bandaged Bear Clinics
and Outpatient Services

The aim of this directory is to assist Paediatricians, General Practitioners and other health professionals when they would like to refer patients to the Outpatient Services. As you will see from the directory, the referring process for a patient varies depending on the specialty that the patient is to be referred to.

When patients attend the clinics it is necessary for them to bring the following items:

  • Clinic Visit card with the medical record number on it if they have one
  • Medicare card
  • Health care book (blue book)
  • New referral to the doctor they are to see if it is the first time

or if they are asked when they ring for an appointment.

When making an appointment or inquiring about an appointment please be ready to quote the patient's full name, address, date of birth and the medical record number if the child has been to the Hospital before.

When patients are given a time for their clinic visit, this is a guide only for when they will be seen. Depending on the clinic the patient may be at the Hospital for several hours.
