Bringing Out the Best in Your Baby

A must for parents and caregivers of children from birth to 12 months of age.

This resource outlines activities to encourage healthy development of your baby during the first 12 months of life and provides a guide of important developmental skills through each stage of growth.

The resource is based on recent research that highlights the importance of early brain development. The research emphasises the need to stimulate children, especially in the first few years of life, as early interactions have a lasting impact on brain development. Therefore, it is vital that each child be provided with special care, beginning even before birth, to ensure healthy development. The resource (Bringing out the best in your baby) has been produced to assist in this process from birth through to the completion of baby's first year.
