Grace's Gala
7pm Friday 5th March 2010 at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Grace's Gala is an opportunity to celebrate and support the life-changing work that is so important to the lives of the babies and families treated everyday at GCNC.
Over the years GCNC have been dedicated to improving treatment, but as they continue to learn and move forward they are committed to making sure that each and every baby gets the most they can out of life.
This work is so important that the staff have been carrying out consultations and assessments as best they can in the space they have. But it isn't enough. They need a purpose built clinic and research centre to regularly monitor and assess those babies who have graduated from Grace. Early intervention for conditions such as hearing or language problems can make such a difference to a child's life. Roof space adjacent to the Grace Centre for Newborn Care is available and with enough funds will be the location of the new clinic.
2010 was the third Gala to help raise funds for this magnificent purpose built clinic and research centre. To date over $550 000 has been raised.
Thanks to all those who attended the Gala for your generous support. It was a wonderful night. We hope the 2010 Gala has raised the necessary funds to complete planning and commence building of the facility.
