Our achievements and goals

The Parent Advisory Council is a very active group and we have a number of projects underway at any time.

Our focus comes from parent's feedback and the suggestions from the team at Grace Centre for Newborn Care.

Our goals include:

Making sure there are enough cot sheets for all babies in Grace
Grace's Gala
Reviewing feedback received through the suggestion box and providing a parent perspective on how to address any issues
Providing a family perspective to the Grace Centre for Newborn Care on any improvements

We have worked on a number of initiatives aimed at supporting parents whilst their baby is in Grace Centre for Newborn Care. These include:

Parent Newsletter - take a look at the most recent addition of our newsletter
Feedback from parents - we welcome your feedback. If you would like to provide some feedback, if you have any suggestions or if you are interested in joining the Parent Advisory Council, we'd love to hear from you!
Care packs - through the generous support of our product donors, we are able to provide parents with a "care pack". This contain a variety of things, typically including toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush, maternity pads, water bottles, snacks and drinks, as well as some information about the team within Grace Centre and the Parent Advisory Council.
Parent library - there are a number of books, DVDs and articles available for loan. These are located in the Family Tea Room.
