About Us

Philosophy

Our Centre aims to foster the emotional, social, cognitive, language and physical growth of each child under it's care. By creating an environment which is warm, secure and comfortable we hope to provide for each child a sense of emotional and physical well-being and encourage a positive attitude to learning.

We recognise that each child is unique and valuable.

We believe that children develop independence and self-esteem within the wider context of the social world through the provision of developmentally appropriate care and education.

Our staff is committed to consistency in the highest quality of program development and it's delivery within a safe and health promoting environment.

We aim to extend and complement the stable and secure environment of the home by building relationships with parents and children that are based on trust and respect.

We value the philosophical and cultural diversity of our families, believing that a free and positive interchange of ideas between the children, their families, and our staff allows all members of the Centre's community to grow. The presence of parents at the Centre is welcomed and suggestions are always appreciated. We will aim to accommodate the working patterns of parents as a work-based Centre.

We aim to be responsible members of our local community and value the resources and services it provides.
