Welcome to the education section of our website

Schools play a key role within the hospital and there are many great ways your school can be involved. We are a very busy place and love working with schools. You can access lots of handy information on health information, school fundraisers and events, excursions, stories from children, kids quizzes and lots more!!

Schools are continually coming up with creative and unique fundraising ideas which gather support from within the school and also from the wider community. You will be surprised how much support you can gain from the wider community if you just ask.

This year is extremely busy for Bandaged Bear. He has so much on his schedule with The Bandaged Bear Appeal, Teddy Bears Picnic, Superhero week, Tours, Operation Art and so many school visits! This year has already been so very exciting and we can't wait to discover what the next exciting event around the corner!

Each year The Children's Hospital at Westmead holds its annual Teddy Bears' Picnic! We hope to see you all again this year on the 16th October at Rosehill Gardens.

If you would like any information about the Hospital or would like to be involved in any of the activities mentioned throughout the Education section of this website please contact us on 02 9845 3364 or email prue.steel@health.nsw.gov.au

Have a great day!
