Schools play a key role within the hospital and there are many great ways your school can be involved. We are a very busy place and love working with schools. You can access lots of handy information on health information, school fundraisers and events, excursions, stories from children, kids quizzes and lots more!!
Schools are continually coming up with creative and unique fundraising ideas which gather support from within the school and also from the wider community.
Easter was a very busy time for many students! The Hospital was buzzing with Easter bunnies and other fun characters delivering Easter Eggs and Easter toys to the patients. Thank you to all of the schools who sent special Easter wishes and gifts. Your support made for a bright and happy Easter at the Hospital.
We are now getting ready for our annual Teddy Bears' Picnic! So put Sunday 19th October in your diaries and make sure you tell all your friends!

CONGRATULATIONS to all schools involved in our Bandaged Bear Appeal!
Many schools chose to hold a stripy mufti day in addition to selling merchandise throughout the month of March. There was also a colouring in competition which saw many beautiful and creative entries sent in to the Hospital. Winners of each year category won a Bandaged Bear merchandise pack!
Now that school holidays are finished we will soon be announcing the lucky school who will be winner of this year's 'School Challenge Perpetual Trophy' for best supporting the Bandaged Bear Appeal 2008.
Did you know that Schools make up one third of Bandaged Bear Day supporters and for that we are eternally grateful!
The Bandaged Bear Appeal will be going for 21 years in 2009 and Bandaged Bear wants to have a huge celebration but we will need your help! If your school would like to be part of the Appeal in 2009 by having your own fundraising celebration, make sure you put Friday 27th March in your school diaries now! Bandaged Bear will send your school an information pack in November this year with more details on how your school can be involved!
