CHW policy, procedure & practice guideline development
When CHW documents are developed (or reviewed) key CHW stakeholders form multidisciplinary teams reviewing the latest literature and applying best practice, appropriate Legislation, NSW Health Policy and Professional Standards. All CHW documents undergo a rigorous approval process via key Committees and are document controlled.
The Children's Hospital at Westmead must comply with NSW Department of Health Policy Directives. A list of NSW Health policies can be found at:
