Bandaged Bear Breakfast - the most important meal of the year!
It is the meal that just can't be missed. A good breakfast is important for a healthy start to the day but a Bandaged Bear Breakfast in March is the most important meal of the year.
With the 24th annual Bandaged Bear Appeal running throughout the month of March, The Children's Hospital at Westmead's beloved mascot is asking the community to hold a Bandaged Bear Breakfast at school, at home or at work to support the Hospital's largest fundraising appeal, making a significant difference to the lives of sick children.
The Bandaged Bear Appeal will be officially launched with Bandaged Bear Day on Friday, 1st March with staff and volunteers selling merchandise and collecting donations all around Sydney.
Bandaged Bear Appeal merchandise, including the iconic clip-on Bandaged Bears, plush bears and lapel pins will be available to sell at breakfast events as well as for purchase through selected retailers around New South Wales and the ACT. Donations can also be made online or by contacting the Hospital.
