The 2012 Bandaged Bear Appeal
With the 23rd Annual Bandaged Bear Appeal running throughout March 2012, The Children's Hospital at Westmead is asking the community to touch the life of a seriously ill child by holding a Bandaged Bear Breakfast, making a donation or purchasing Bandaged Bear Appeal merchandise. Each year, The Children's Hospital at Westmead touches the lives of 70,000 patients and their families by providing world-class clinical care, community education, advocacy for child health and well-being, and ground-breaking research into childhood illnesses. As the largest paediatric centre in NSW treating children from across Australia and the Pacific Rim, donations made to the appeal are crucial in allowing the Hospital to purchase the most technologically advanced medical equipment, conduct vital research and maintain the total healing environment that the Hospital is renowned for. Getting involved is easy. Simply head to the Bandaged Bear Appeal website at www.bandagedbear.com.au or contact (02) 9845 3367 and register to hold a Bandaged Bear Breakfast, make a donation, or find out where to purchase Appeal merchandise. Whose life will you touch today?
