City to Surf

The Think Kids Challenge is a Fundraising activity where supporters of the Children's Hospital at Westmead can join together to help raise funds to support the hospital whilst taking part in the Sun Herald City to Surf. The race will take place on Sunday the 10th of August 2008.

Tony Barbaro is famous for being the first costumed runner to finish in 2005. He is one such supporter who has run with the Westmead group for the past three years.  His famous Spiderman costume has become synonymous with the children's hospital.

As a father, Tony has been working to raise both funds and awareness for the hospital's cause, completing the Nepean Triathlon and the Maroubra Fun Run, both as his athletic alter-ego, Spiderman.

This year Tony's workmates from CSR Wetherill Park will be running alongside the CSR Chatswood team, competing in a race with each other to raise the most money, dress the silliest, run the fastest and have the most fun!

The Children's Hospital at Westmead wishes all contestants the best of luck on the big day.

To get involved in the Think Kids Challenge, or for any related enquiries, contact the Special Events Team at The Children's Hospital at Westmead on 02 9845 3364 or events@chw.edu.au
