Bandaged Bear goes Blue for Diabetes

UN World Diabetes Day is on Wed 14th November. To celebrate, 140 famous buildings around the world (including the Sydney Opera House) are lighting up in blue to promote awareness. The theme this year is Diabetes in Children and Adolescents.

As Professor Martin Silink, Endocrinologist at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and President of the International Diabetes Federation, lights up the Empire State Building in New York,  look out for the giant blue jacketed Bandaged Bear featured on the roof of The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
