Brighten a Kids Day at The Children's Hospital at Westmead

Leading fashion designer Bruno Schiavi has joined together with celebrities and sporting stars to host a party at The Children's Hospital at Westmead on Wednesday 8th August 2007.

Coming to meet the kids are Nickelodeon's Joy Smithers, Dora & Boots, Asha Keurten, Holly Brisley, the Totally Wild team, Saturday Disney hosts and Sydney Swan players. They will spend the morning in the wards chatting with more than 280 children and delivering some well-deserved presents to help make the children's stay in the hospital just that little bit more comfortable and enjoyable.

With the assistance of sponsors, Jupi Corporation's ‘Project Feel Good' will be donating much needed audio visual equipment, video games and DVD's to The Children's Hospital at Westmead to support the thousands of sick children who are admitted to the Hospital each year. In the last year alone, The Children's Hospital at Westmead consulted over 600,000 patients and 27,000 sick children were admitted to the Hospital (that's over 519 sick children admitted every week).

"The work that the Hospital does is incredible, and we hope that we, in our own little way, are able to assist them and bring some joy to all the children that are suffering", said event organiser and fashion designer Bruno Schiavi.

Eight years ago Bruno Schiavi launched the Jupi Corporation with a simple idea - the pocket sock - and has gone on to create and build brands with Australian singing sensation Delta Goodrem, TV identity & radio host Jackie O and international icon Priscilla Presley. Identified by BOSS Magazine in 2004 as one of the top 10 Australian Entrepreneurs and a regular on the BRW Fashion Rich List, Bruno Schiavi has carved himself a unique position in the fashion industry and business world.

With contacts in the entertainment and fashion industries, and a passion for charity work, Bruno has over the years supported several great causes. Earlier this year, Bruno teamed up with nine well known celebrities to co-design and auction the pairs of shoes for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Prior to this, Bruno had encouraged high profile friends and acquaintances to create pieces of MensFit underwear before being auctioned to raise funds for Testicular Cancer treatment and research.
