The 2006 Teddy Bears' Picnic!

Thank you to all those who attended the 2006 Teddy Bears' Picnic! It was a great day out, and one of our biggest years yet. This year we achieved record numbers of over 11,000 people.

A fantastic day was had by all, with rides, face painting, show bags, craft stalls, activities and more. Some of the highlights of the day included the Myer School Stage which showcased school talent from around the state; the Picnic Popstars competition, with special guest judge Nuala Hafner; the Centre Stage with Saturday Disney, The Raggs Show, Dorothy the Dinosaur and more; the ‘Open Season' rides arena with Yamaha Dirt Bikes, a Giant Slide, Thomas the Tank Engine and Mini Cars; and the numerous Hospital Departments who came along to showcase the world class standard of healthcare that is offered by The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

It is exciting to see the ongoing support from the community for the Teddy Bears' Picnic and The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Together we are helping to change the lives of sick kids.
