Christmas Toy Drive

Radio station, WSFM, are organising a Christmas toy drive on behalf of the hospital.

Toys can be dropped off to The Children's Hospital at Westmead, corner Hawkesbury Road and Hainsworth Street, Westmead between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please label your gifts for the Volunteers Department.

We ask that all toys be new toys - this is for reasons of risk of infection. We also ask that the toys be unwrapped, so that we can choose a gift that is appropriate for that child's circumstances.

Babies - 3 year olds

  • Mobiles to hang on the cot
  • Soft toys
  • Baby rattlers
  • Musical toys
  • Thomas the Tank Engine, Sesame Street, Bob the Builder
  • Building blocks

3- 8 year olds

  • Soft toys
  • Games, Barbie (Fairytopia), Elmo, Saddle Club, Hi-5, Wiggles, Disney or Warner Bros Shrek, Nemo, Dress up costumes - super heroes, Astro Boy, Cabbage Patch dolls.
  • Crayons, paint sets, activity sets, bubble blowers with bubbles
  • CDs or DVDs

8-12 year olds
Bratz Dolls, jewellery, games, Harry Potter, Robosapien, hair ties or jewellery, hair pieces, CDs, DVDs, activity sets. Tapestry kits, jewellery kits, soft toys.

12 - 18 year olds
CDs, DVDs, t-shirts, jewellery, jewellery boxes, caps and soft sun hats, Beach towels, cosmetics, bath products, activities packs (eg knit a scarf).

Toys can be dropped off to The Children's Hospital at Westmead, corner Hawkesbury Road and Hainsworth Street, Westmead between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please label your gifts for the Volunteers Department.
