The seminars are designed to inspire students to make a contribution to their school and the community, motivate students to be great leaders in their areas of influence and empower them with effective leadership skills, help students to become positive advocates of the Hospital and to provide students with knowledge to make positive lifestyle choices.Keynote speakers on the day will share their life story in the context of leadership, career achievements and health advocacy. Speakers will include John P. Coutis, Anita Savage and Joel Betts. The Hospital's emergency team will also present to the students and will discuss the significance of effective leadership in their respective roles. Gavin Robertson will speak at the secondary seminar and a tour of the Hospital will be arranged for these students. A mystery speaker and a visit from Bandaged Bear will be a treat for primary students. Activities will also be part of the day and morning tea will be provided.
