Party Day 2002

On Friday 6th December, The Children's Hospital at Westmead will be throwing a Christmas extravaganza to give patients and their families the opportunity to celebrate the festive season in style.

At the Hospital not every child is well enough to get out of bed to attend a Christmas Party, so we bring the party to them!

The party will start at 10.00am and finish at 12 noon with groups touring the wards to visit every child in Hospital. Santa & Mrs Claus will distribute presents to all children which have been kindly donated by Westpac staff from the Homebush Bay area.

Other special guests include Dorothy the Dinosaur, the Rug Rats, the Star Girls, stars of Big Brother, the Home and Away cast, the Peace Angels, the NSW Waratahs, John Coutis, Fairy Tinkerbell and many more.

Several wards and departments will also be joining in the festivities by decorating their areas or dressing up to themes, such as 'Hooray for Hollywood', 'Down on the Farm', 'Under the Circus Big Top', 'Christmas at Hogwarts' and 'The Muppets Meet Sesame Street'.

Media should meet at Public Relations, The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Cnr Hawkesbury Road & Hainsworth Street, Westmead
