Christmas comes early for Hospital patients
Every year more than 90,000 children Australia-wide write to Santa. To ensure that as many of these wish lists as possible get to him, Santa's 'Little Helpers' (aka Australia Post Posties) will visit the The Children's Hospital at Westmead to collect all their Santa letters. What: Australia Post Posties dressed as 'Santa's "Little Helpers"' visiting The Children's Hospital at Westmead to collect children's Santa letters. The children of the Hospital will gather together to write their Santa letters, assisted by his helpers and Hospital staff. The Posties will present a special Santa Mail Box to the Hospital to enable the children who do not have their letters ready on the day to post them to Santa at a later date.
Where: The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Hawkesbury Road, Westmead, N.S.W., 2145.
When: 11 AM, Thursday, 8 November 2001.
