World First Cancer Trial Saves Lives
A world-first clinical trial has increased the survival rate for the most common childhood cancer. The pioneering trial initiated at The Children's Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children's Hospital has doubled the survival rate for children with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).

It is the meal that just can't be missed. A good breakfast is important for a healthy start to the day but a Bandaged Bear Breakfast in March is the most important meal of the year. With the 24th annual Bandaged Bear Appeal running throughout the month of March, The Children's Hospital at Westmead's beloved mascot is asking the community to hold a Bandaged Bear Breakfast at school, at home or at work to support the Hospital's largest fundraising appeal, making a significant difference to the lives of sick children.
