The Children's Hospital at Westmead is the largest, highly respected paediatric centre in NSW, providing excellent care for children from NSW, Australia and across the Pacific Rim. Established in 1880, a stand alone public hospital and registered charity with 3,000 staff in 150 departments, The Children's Hospital at Westmead serves over 50,000 sick children and their families each year in a family-focused healing environment. In 2006:
- we admitted over 26,000 patients
- 43,000 children were presented at our Emergency Department
- we conducted over 800,000 occasions of service in our Outpatients Clinics
Funded by the NSW Government, The Children's Hospital at Westmead provides significant extra services aided by the generosity of individual, community and corporate donors. Our target for this year is $25 million, so we really do need your help. Donations of $2 and over are fully tax-deductible and we will send you a receipt for this purpose.
The Fundraising team are ready to help with any ideas and answer any questions you may have. Call us on (02) 9845 3367 or email fund@chw.edu.au. Thank you for your support.
